Since I have been fooling around with Magnetic Card Readers (LINK), industrial computers and eRTOS, I thought it would be a challenge to create a internet controllerd entry system using these elements.
The goals of the project are: - allow entry into a room when a valid card is swiped. - be able to add card #'s via a password protected website - log all entries and be able to view entry logs via a password protected website - be able to control entry times If the project gets far enough along I will purchase a standard Electric Strike as the output device. last update: 3/11/2008 |
